These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of the Companyfile platform operated by Companyfile B.V., a Dutch company registered under KvK 12345678 ("Companyfile", "we", "us"). By creating an account or using the platform, you agree to these Terms.
Companyfile provides a structured business disclosure platform that helps companies create professional CDD (Customer Due Diligence) reports for banks, accountants, auditors and investors. The platform includes:
To use Companyfile you must create an account with a valid email address and password. You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials. You must be at least 18 years old and have the legal authority to represent the company for which you create a disclosure.
You are solely responsible for the accuracy and completeness of all information entered into the platform. Companyfile provides a structured format for disclosure — it does not verify the factual accuracy of the data you provide. The generated report includes a declaration confirming the information was provided by you.
Companyfile is a structuring and reporting tool. It does not constitute legal advice, compliance advice, or a guarantee of regulatory acceptance. The platform helps you organize and present your business information — it does not assess your compliance status. Always consult qualified professional advisors for legal or regulatory matters.
Creating an account and completing the questionnaire is free. Report generation requires a one-time payment per entity. Prices are displayed on the platform and are inclusive of VAT where applicable. Payments are processed through secure payment providers. Refunds are handled on a case-by-case basis.
The Companyfile platform, including its design, questionnaire logic, report templates, and software, is owned by Companyfile B.V. and protected by Dutch and European intellectual property laws. You retain ownership of all data you enter into the platform and all generated reports.
We process personal data in accordance with our Privacy Policy and the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR). Your data is stored on EU servers and encrypted at rest and in transit.
Companyfile provides the platform "as is". We are not liable for decisions made by banks, regulators or other third parties based on information in your disclosure report. Our total liability is limited to the amount you paid for the service in the 12 months preceding the claim.
You may delete your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms or are used for fraudulent purposes. Upon termination, your data will be deleted in accordance with our Privacy Policy.
These Terms are governed by Dutch law. Any disputes will be submitted to the competent court in Amsterdam, the Netherlands.
